Counted one more down !!!!

First of all , wishing all of you a very happy new year….. 😀 …. I know that I am late by 5 days but the practical exams forced me into this situation ….. that’s a genuine excuse….isn’t it ?? …. 😛

2008 ….. last year appeared to have passed away in a hurry …… and now I sit back recollecting how my last year turned out for me…… third semester …… did I enjoyed it….. yeah I did … enjoyed it to the fullest ….. and never noticed how quickly the sem flew away …… third sem is over ….. and so is the year 2008 …..

Here stands a brand new year ….. a brand new starting ….. a new beginning …… but what is my new year’s resolution ….. I haven’t given any thought to it…… and now when I come to think of it …. I wonder what it could be ……. And what about my new year’s resolutions ….. well I managed to list down a few…..

1. I would never engineer any rocket in the class this year ….. so that none of my fellow engineers could put it to any constructive use …. i.e aiming a head shot of professor …. (my apologies to all the victims this year) …..

2. Inspite of the completely messy food of the hostel mess , I will try my level best to cut down on my expenditure that arises as a result of my visits to the dhabas and restaurants ….. (I just need to remind myself again and again…….mess food will not kill me … mess food will not kill me … mess food will not kill me …)

3. We are supposed to follow dress code in the classes ( yeah……. our management thinks that uniform has some black magic in it which would make us disciplined ……. ) …….. I would try to provide full justice to my college uniform ….. will wear it atleast once in a month ….. 😛

4. I would not install any keylogger or malicious javascript in anyone’s computer in order to hack someone down ….. I would cut down the time I spend online ….. no longer 24 x 7 ol ….. 22 x 7 will b fine…… 😛 ……

 

5. Unlike last semester where I didn’t submitted even a single assignment ….. I would surely submit a few assignments this time around …. And will not bunk the classes that frequently ……. I don’t want to get detained again…. 😦 ….

 

 

No more late night chats …… wake up early …… behave like a human and not like an owl……… Sounds good ….. don’t they ….. but I would be very lucky if I could successfully follow even a single one of those resolutions ….. resolutions are made to be broken……. 😛 …… at that note , I would like to add one more to that list ……

I , certify that I would abide by all the resolutions I made this year …… In case any of the resolutions is not followed sincerely , an attempt to follow the same will be made next year or in the consequent years to follow ……. 😀

Hurray !!! its weekend

Just when you start thinking that this world is upto no good …… you start cursing everything around you ….. your brain is filled with utter despearation crying out loud for some relief …… all the professors and lecturers take an avatar of a demon in front of your eyes ….. and you are just at the melting point when ………… when weekend comes to your rescue ……..

 

Following the similar routine for the whole week ……forced to wake up early in the morning …….attending five classes on the trot …….. devastated by the result of sessionals …… reaching the labs with incomplete files , ready to be at the receiving end of all the scolding …… the weekend comes nothing less than a blessing for me ……..

 

 

As they say : Weekends have very few days

 

But I know how to extract the bright things out of these few days …… First of all , I have to cover up for all the incomplete dreams that the alarm clock has cost me ……. Do you know how it feels like when that stupid beep-beep tone hinders with your sleep ……. 😡 ….. when you feel that how peaceful this world would have been without these filthy alarm clocks …….

 

Friday it is ……a number of movies released ….. one of them will surely be blessed by my worthy presence…….its been almost a week since I last watched a movie (Fashion being the one)……..

 

Looking forward to this weekend …….. Although college management tried to dampen my spirits through their ugly tactics , by arranging for the extra classes ……. But justice prevails and we didn’t hesitate even for a second before deciding to bunk the class 😉 ….. Howzzat Mr. Dean …… no one can mess with my weekend ……..

 

P.S. I hate Mondays …. 😡

 

Back to the Karambhoomi

One week has gone by in a ziffy …… “Royal” is the word that I would associate with my lifestyle back at home …… With full freedom to do whatever I want , go to bed and rise back at my sole wish , no endeavour by my sister to get hold of the sytem when I am on …….. I am the BIG BOSS here at home …..

Just one day ….. and see how a king transforms into a soldier on a mission …… a mission to face all the threats directed at him by HOD for bunking the classes ….. a mission to rise at 9 in the morning …….. a mission to …….errr……to look after himself ……..

Back to the Karambhoomi ……. Back to RKGIT …… back to all the assignments that I have been postponing for the deadline ……. Back to the classes that I would have bunked had I been not blacklisted …… Most importantly , back among my friends …… Back to all the masti …… back to the party-every-night attitude ……. Sheer enjoyment ……
Despite of all the work load that Data Structures lay upon us , despite of the (something-is-better-than-nothing) food of our mess , despite of all the fines that’s imposed on us for all funny reasons ……. “Heavenly” is what I would say about life in the hostel ……. So many friends to share your happiness and gloomy moments with …… so many friends to kick at your back ruthlessly on your friends …… so many friends to strike for you lest you were restricated from the hostel …… “All for One …. One for All “……

Forseeing the heavy workload that I am destined for until Deepawali holidays , I might not be able to blog for the coming few days ….. might not even come online for long stretches …… Its hard to find any spare time to update the blog amidst hundreds of events going around ….. Will try my level best to buy some time and sneak in one post , or two though…..
